The massive earthquake of 25 th  April 2015  devastated the country with destroying about eight hundred thousand houses and more than 14000 lives were lost and more than 25000 people injured. The traumatic pain of people is evidence in their activities. The national and international responses were overwhelming for rescue initiatives. Many national and international organizations have pledged and provided resources for restoration of this destroyed infrastructure, but the implementation of this is not in function. Affected people are eagerly waiting for help and that is delayed. Affected people somehow managed to survive in raining season and now the harsh winter is approaching and how people are going to survive is an issue of concern. The government, general public, NGOs and INGOs and other humanitarian organizations and international communities have big responsibilities to respond to the need...

With Christmas just around the corner, we wanted to explore Nepal's first churches and the growth of Christianity in Nepal. Let's play a word game. I say a word and then you say the first thing that comes to mind. Here we go – CHRISTMAS! What did you think of first? Santa Clause, presents, lights, trees, stockings? Believe it or not, the true meaning of Christmas lies far from mere "Christmas culture" and doesn't even come close to the much endeared term, "family-time". The 25th of December is an auspicious and holy day in the Christian calendar because the day marks the birth of Jesus Christ, the incarnation of God, through the Virgin Mary in the town of Bethlehem, Judea. काठमाडौं, (नेस) ललितपुरको झम्सीखेलस्थित क्याथोलिक एजम्सन चर्चमा एक साताअघि बम विस्फोट घटनाको नेपाल डिफेन्स आर्मीले औपचारिक जिम्मा लिएको छ। नेपाल डिफेन्स आर्मीका सर्वोच्च कमाण्डर आरपी मैनालीले हस्ताक्षर गरी जारी गरिएको विज्ञप्तिमा एक महिनाभित्र नेपालमा रहेका क्रिश्चियन समुदायलाई देश छाड्नसमेत चेतावनी दिएको छ। जेठ ११ गतेको मितिमा रहेको सो विज्ञप्ति शुक्रबार र्सार्वजनिक भएको हो। तत्कालीन प्रधानमन्त्री कृष्णप्रसाद भट्टर्राईले २०४६ सालमा ६२ जना क्रिश्चियनलाई धर्म निरपेक्षताको नाममा जेलमुक्त गरेपछि हिन्दू धर्मलाई बचाउन क्रिश्चियनहरूमाथि आक्रमण थालिएको विज्ञप्तिमा उल्लेख गरिएको छ। करोडौं डलरको प्रलोभनमा संसद्ले हिन्दू राष्ट्र नेपाललाई धर्मनिरपेक्ष बनाएको र हिन्दूहरूको मौलिकतालाई पूर्ण रूपमा नष्ट पार्ने ‘ग्रायन्ड डिजाइन’ को पर्दाफास गर्दै हिन्दूविरोधी गतिविधि रोक्ने विज्ञप्तिमा उल्लेख छ। नेपालमा रहेका क्रिश्चियन धर्मावलम्बीहरूलाई एक महिनाभित्र देश छाड्न चेतावनी दिँदै मैनालीले नत्र नेपालमा १० लाख क्रिश्चियनको घरमा १० लाखवटै विस्फोट गराइने चेतावनी दिएको छ। जेठ ९ गते करिब ४ सय क्रिश्चियन प्रार्थन...
